HEY!

So this week was a solid one! Things are gettin solid here in Sauga! So I do this little note card thing every week of things I want to say and so I'm just going to go off for a second on those and then just talk for a second after haha. So we have this guy named Carlos that we are working with.. SOLID... GOLD... He said he needs to get away from his past and everything along those and we are just gettin him rollin! We have taught him the restoration, Gospel of Jesus Christ and The Plan of Salvation. He loved every single one and he went to church last week... only concern is we called him yesterday throughout the day to come to church and didn't answer.. We are hoping nothing is making him just drop us but other than that he is one of the awesomest guys out there! This last week I got to go on travels with this Elder Named elder Yu! He is sooo funny haha, he is this crazy little Asian elder (if you cant tell from his name!) but yeah it was super fun, he has been one of my good friends out here and we really get along well! The travels that we do sometimes are so fun just to see how other people do what they do and see their outlook for all of this work! So that was very fun!

Hahahah soo I have 2 pretty good stories! This week we were out tracting and lookin for some new people to teach and we turned around after this door didn't answer to this crazyyy dude. Straight up one of the most whacked out guys I've ever seen haha. He came up and was like (speaking a million miles an hour when he says this) "Hey are you Jehovah's? or Mormons?" we replied "Mormons, hows it goin?" he explodes back "hey my name is mike, can I have a Mormon bible? I want to go to church! I have read the Mormon bible before, this is my 3rd time, I just need more for my wife and kid!" we respond "oh so have you and your wife been baptized?" He bombards back "No I haven't yet but my wife is in India! I need to go back there and put my name in the ads to get her! and once we come back in 9+ months I will be baptized! Or can I be baptized now? or over the phone in a minute?"........... it was probably the weirdest thing that has happened out here yet haha, and that was like half of the convo.. my fingers are getting bored of narrating so I'm just going to say it was funnnyyy!!

Next story is you know those grey pants the ones that I have had forever? yeah so they ripped.... in the crotch... kinda sucks h aha cause the other ones are like dress pants and I don't wanna wreck them yet! This is the funny part, I hadn't washed them in a while and I kinda was guessing they stunk... so when I was changing them after they ripped I had to take a sniff right? oh my word... instant homesickness... they smelt exactly like football camp pants. I was intoxicated with the nastiness but such a familiarity to it I was almost in tears not only because they reeked beyond measure but because I'm washed up... no more football for me. ha ha pretty gross yes... but still advice for younger people, LIVE IT UP! I miss it so much. The only thing I don't miss is the back pain... because I still have it and its gotten worse... but yeah that really is a problem... ha... but anyways this week was solid! During a lesson I messed up, got corrected by my comp... i was bugged but guess what the guy said... hey man its alright its hard, and you really aren't bad! You sound like an Argentinian! AHHHH Troy!! looks like we are similar after all you passion bucket of mine :) hahah but yeah that's about it.. Oh those whitening stripes I used before my mish? yeah they have this toothpaste of it... totally works! Get it! Its like 3 bucks and so worth it ha ha.

Best advice is this... if ever bummed out, find the positive and keep saying it until you like it. Truly works... truly works! Well I love you guys A LOT! You are seriously awesome! Keep me updated :)

HEYYYY!!!! Soo about that ATM thing, sorry!! There is not a Wells Fargo here ha ha! I didn't know what to do soo... yeah... I wont take anything like that from it I will only just buy it! I got a hat in Toronto :) its awesome! These pictures just tell how the trip was and what I got to see and all that jazz! It was really such a cool trip. OOHHH my... SOOO good! We have been doing better here in Mississauga. We have stepped it up and we are finding tons of random people who want to learn more! It has been really hard to get them to progress and come to church but we're working on it! I cant believe this is week 9 in the field for me! The reason I know that is because we do this training course for the new missionaries and its a 12 week program, I am finally to week 9... Crazy... its haulin past my eyes! But recently it has slowed down just because of my attitude for sure. I haven't been too patient with the language ha ha its been super hard to be happy all the time and just not to stress and that's for sure.. it is not easy in the slightest bit... its really so hard to just sit down, focus in on whats important and work.. don't get me wrong I haven't just stopped working and been an apostate missionary ha ha, I have still been working as hard as I can but the thing that is super hard is to do it all the time. And In a sense I think its pretty fake if you are happy all the time ha ha its not possible, you have to get stressed and stuff in order to feel peace and happiness. So I'm working on it right now super hard... Hopefully I'll man up and just quit complaining, but Satan's working hard on me for sure. 

I'm soooo stoked to hear about Cars... I cant believe he is Elder Cars :) what a cutie. I am stoked for him to leave and get a little piece away from home, see how much he loves it! But its not anywhere near what a mission is ha ha, he is choosing where he lives and who with and what he wants to do... I don't get to pick really any of those ha ha. But hey its going to work out. We have been working super hard with some investigators lately and they aren't really progressing. Its been crappy in that sense but we have one who is really starting to look solid, his names Carlos and he is from Columbia. He got to come to church yesterday and he really is looking solid. We are working with him for the 29th of July so we will see how that goes! I'm pretty bugged though, cause I was waiting for him in the foyer because he was running late and they didn't bring the sacrament out there... YIKES.... NOT GOOD. I look forward to that remission of my sins ha ha, it always brings me such peace and starts me off on the week super happy... I didn't get it :( I'm pretty sad about that. Lately with everything I have been going back to the second by second, minute by minute ways. Sometimes I just get frustrated and stressed and need to relax. Its been working but hands down the best thing to do is just pray. Just talk and say whats up. Its been helping me a lot and I have been loving it!  

I'd say the hardest thing for me is probably the language (That's normal though) and also just being lost in the work. All and all though, its awesome! We went to teach this guy the other day and he wasn't there but 2 of his friends were and we got to teach them, super random! But that was Saturday and the next day one of them came to church! Like Ive said, its starting to explode! Mississauga is awesome ha ha! This letter is a junky one, I don't really know what to say ever because its all a blur, and what not! But we will see in the future what happens! Because I'm pretty sure its gonna be GRAND :) ha ha I love you guys so much! sorry this letter sucks, I don't really know what to say at times! But I love hearing from you guys, its the best thing ever :) Keep working hard! It slowly becomes better! I love you so much! Keep me posted on your lives!

Mama! FAmilia!

How is it going? I love all your stories ha ha it helps me feel like I'm still right there with ya and not missing out on all the fun! I love Derek hahaha that's totally a Derek thing to do, what a stud! When I read that I told my district because it was so funny and I was laughing up a storm! Seriously though, that's a total Derek thing. This week has been super good, we have been seeing A LOT more success out here, we have been finding random new investigators right and left. We are pretty excited about the area starting to grow ha ha! SO funny stuff.... hmm oh! This week we actually were trying to have a class thing called "What do Mormons REALLY believe?" and so... No body came, which is alright ha ha but the only thing funny about it was we got a chalk board and went out in front of the church (Its a super busy road!) and wrote on the chalk board to come and stuff, it was just funny cause if you think about it, you seeing some random kids on a busy street with a huge chalkboard telling people to learn about God, we got tons of lookers though ha ha. OH I got a gift card from the Gees! Tell them I love them and its so awesome ha ha, I haven't found the place that its for but I'm searching away for it! So the car has helped beyond all imagine! Seriously, I got to drive it for about 3 days and then they saw that I have 2 speeding tickets... to tell Troy this is all his fault I cant drive here ha ha. The only way I can is if I take like a course thing, I don't really know how to explain it ha ha but yeah so I'm pretty bummed out, I was LOVIN to drive again! It was sooo weird! But we got a Chevy Malibu hahah, we look like straight up business men, rollin up in the Boo and church clothes hahah! Its pretty funny but super great! This week we got a call from this lady to come and speak with her son about his life. He is 15 and she thinks he is doing bad things... so we went and talked to him and we bore our testimonies of how we know what he is going through.. haha I know exactly his shoes... I cant believe how much I hated being with my family, and how much pain I caused um, so me and elder Steele just tried to help them out, it was super spiritual.. So that was last Saturday... Yesterday we went and talked to his aunt and uncle and aunts sister... so we talked about that but also shared the Restoration! It is crazy! We are being blessed with the blessings of people coming into our pathway. This letter is crappy cause I'm writing as fast as possible cause we are going to TOROONTOOO!!! YEAHHHHH!!!! ha ha I'm soooo stoked!! so let me just say this, My Spanish... Crappy.... everything about it... I sound like a 5 year old. Do I care? no. Not one bit. Because I don't need to speak. I just need to bring the spirit and help them feel it even if it sounds like gears grinding together or like how Caden sounded when he used to grind his teeth, haha? But seriously. Its so amazing how I can walk away from a lesson and I know I tried to speak and I know it sounded awful, trust me, my comp always lets me know what I do wrong... ha ha its pretty frustrating at times, but the times I try, are the times I enjoy. I love you all so much! Keep me updated and keep smiling! IT ALL WORKS OUT. Just enjoy it ha ha.

Hey Mommy/ Familia!!!

What are the odds of that happening haha that the one time on splits he comes and brings that?  So 1 its translated from English to Spanish and also in another room its translated to Mandarin! and NOPE I'm staying here ha ha I'm gonna be here for another transfer! I'm pretty happy and I'm super happy because we also are getting a CAR!!!! Its going to help us soooo much! especially, because Mississauga is HUGE and if we have an appointment at the North it will take us like 3 hours to get down to the Center and yeah haha its a mess at times, but I'm stoked about the car! I FINALLY got all the mail! I don't like sending it to the mission office because you don't get it forever! I got a letter from Cait, and I got all your letters and Packages that day too but they came right to our house! I loved the little gum packages too hahah! It made me laugh! I love when you send pictures too mom, I love seeing everyone! Everyone looks the same so looks like nothing has changed haha! I loved the graduation pictures cause I got to see you and dad! I haven't seen one in forever! and also Grandma Peg sent me one of the whole family! It looks like it turned out pretty good! So about going out to eat... I WOULD LOVE TO! BUT.... we don't go to much, we usually just go home and eat... and sometimes its a waste of time because it would be easier just to eat out and not have to wait on a bus and just drive back home, but when we eat out its SUPER good! But its all good, We do P Days! Everything is SUPER expensive too. Like 5 bucks more for everything ha ha. Its a joke .We ate at Wendys this week and I had some weird french fries! They are called Poutine? I think that's how you spell it! But its fries with gravey and cheese on it, and it was actually pretty good, I think I'm going to try it again but this time at a good place haha!

So I don't have too much for this week! But I'm grateful for the hanky's grandma gave me! cause I always have one with me cause I sweat so freakin much haha, its beyond humid and hot and you know how frustrated I get when I am dying! So I get a headache cause I sweat and then I just sweat more! There is nothing to much to do but wipe my face off with a hanky and sizzle to death! Its good though! I think I've lost quite a bit of weight, we walk a lot and we sweat more... well I do haha! But its still fun no matter what! Last Sunday I forgot to mention this Asian lady came up to me and was like "Ah U fum Amewika?" (Are you from America in Old Lady Chinese haha) and I was like "Yep!" and she gave me this gnarly Pin that I put on my suit ha ha it has a Canadian flag and an American flag right next to each other! Its actually way cool! super random too! This last week on splits was SOLID! I went with Elder Snow, the English, and it was soooo fun! hahaha randomly we went with the Chinese elders to a BBQ at a car dealership for some free food hahah! It was super awkward! People were just starring at us and yeah it was funny! But free burgers? I'm in! So that was funny, and we got to teach in English so that made it much easier, and we went tracting in this area where they had like 6 doors right next to each other and for a couple of them we just rang all 6 doors and just sat in the middle waiting to preach a sermon hahah! Nobody came out though.... so pretty lame! But it would have been super funny! We have been doing pretty good, I feel like we are finding more people to teach and I feel like I'm starting to be able to talk better in Spanish and also to just talk to random people on the streets! But its getting better, Yesterday was crappy... I had a headache and hadn't eaten so I felt sick but once I ate all was well! I love you guys so much! I hope that home is good and that you guys enjoyed your Vacations and are having a killer summer! I love you so much! KEEP WRITING :)

MOMMY DEAR AND FAMILY!!!

I love you guys!! ha ha so I don't need anything! I'M SOLID right now! Everything is moving along. Ha ha you don't need to tell anyone to not email me, I like reading them I just don't reply... Its super hard but they said not too... I feel kinda weird being like so with the rules, especially because before my mission I was not at all ha ha, but it has been blessing us SOO MUCH! This past week we actually had a baptism! I had not part of it because I came into the mission with him having a baptismal date and everything but it was still super good to be able to help contribute to it! and also we had 2 investigators be able to attend church!!!! AHHHH!!! it was sooooo amazing!!! So before I say anything else remember how I said like 4 weeks ago this creep was looking at my stuff in the library?? yeah... he is right across the desk from me and is checking out the other missionaries stuff... he is a freak! a HUGE one!!! But anyways haha... he gives me the creepiest feelings inside right now too but... yeah so yesterday it was pretty awesome to be able to take part in that and I'm sending you the pictures of it and everything, I LOVE this family... they are honestly so incredible and SO awesome!!! They are the Canestuj's and yeah... I LOVE um ha ha the hardest part about yesterday was that the primary kids sang the Fathers day songs and also had some cute little 9 year olds give talks about their dads... yeah I was pretty much dying because of it.. I started tearing up like a little baby ha ha but all is well I didn't cry. The only reason its so crappy is because you kind of take advantage of how awesome families are!!! so boys.... LOVE MOM AND DAD... Hug um often, love um always, and just remember that we are soooo blessed to have them!!!! The Spanish culture makes me realize how much I love you guys even more... with EVERYONE they hug and kiss their cheeks... even if they aren't related! They just love you for being alive! I love it! Cause we are all brothers and sisters ha ha and that's one thing I have been working on for sure... I used to always look at people and judge them because they looked weird and what not... but now whenever I look at some rotten up tool with a weird hair cut and some clothes I wouldn't wear... instead of being like hahaha what a tool, I think... hmm... my brother needs some serious help... ha ha sounds dumb yes... but it has been helping me SO MUCH.  I have been talking more and just trying harder to help more people and just trying to talk with everyone... it has been helping me SO MUCH... it is soooo fun!!!! I love talking as you all know so now I'm putting it to good use :) so yeah! this week was a solid one, but a way cool thing that we did are splits.. and my comp got called to be the District leader so I got to go on splits with the Zone leaders this week! SO fun! I got to teach in English and got to ride in a car ha ha it was super fun, it was so different and got to learn so much! I didn't get to sleep over, but it was still such a good experience. I will explain better what they are next week, I don't have much time right now but I will explain it better! So 2 quick things... 1 my favorite foods now... fruits ha ha especially mango's and pineapple. I eat them like everyday! I love um ha ha and 2 mom remember that experience with the baconader burger at Wendy's? How I loved it then hated it? yeah... that's how the MTC was... I hated it then... but its cause I was being negative... Now I look back on it as actually fun  haha! Just a little update... I hope that this letter is decent enough for you guys! I will get a better one next week! Keep me updated with all of your lives! I LOVE YOU SSOOOO MUCCHHH!!!! and no we never got the centipede haha! its gonna kill mee!!!!! I haven't gotten your mail yet... its at the stinking office I hope... its a joke... I might need to figure out a new system ha ha!

 FAMILY!!!!
AHHHHH!!!!! I am doing good again haha no big deal! Some weeks are harder than others and especially when they just break you down eventually! Right now I'm happy again... :) see! But even happier about Tanner!!!! UHHH!!! I wanna just hug him! I am soooo happy for him! SOOO HAPPY! He is a stud, and I know that he will come to love it, and so will T roy! Tell the Hinds family I love them and to email Tanner and Troy that I love them soooo much! I'm trying not to email anyone that isn't family because the Mission President this last week told us its just one of those small things that is breaking the rules but stops us from receiving those MIRACLES!! Sooo... if you are wanting me to email you and I don't I'm sorry... :(I wish I could BUT.... we need some miracles haha! So last week I sent some pictures! There is one of me with a stain and a frowny face.... yeah that was Bird Poop haha I was walking and was like "wow... it reeks! Check your shoes Elder" and we both did and as a checked my right shoe I saw the beastly dump of an obnoxious sparrow... uhhh haha just my luck huh?? I forgot to mention about my district so I will write that right now! Its me and Elder Steele, then there are 2 English elders named Elder Kozak (from Ogden, UT) and Elder Snow (from St George UT) and they are awesome, we usually hang with them on P days and they are really cool guys, I love um! Then there are 2 Chinese elders named Elder Yu (Hong Kong/Vancover Canada) and then now Elder Tsai (Taiwan/Vancover Canada) But we had one other who just left today named Elder Snow (Washington DC) and he was the district leader but he left early because he finished out his mission and is returning to the Air Force! I told him to look for Beanie haha! This last week like I said was super solid! It flew by soooo fast! Its because we were working hard though haha! We had Zone Conference this week and it was BOMB! We have the biggest zone in the mission because we are in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and it is HUGE! So we had a lot of people, but lets just say this before hand, we got a text that we all needed to prepare talks to give there so that they could just randomly call.... well... my comp told me cause he has the phone... but I thought he was joking.... soo... do you see where I'm going with this? hahah we get there and what do you know... I get called on... it was just like when I gave a talk in the MTC before leaving, I just KNEW I was getting called on haha I felt it. But so I got up and just went with the spirit and I did nothing! I didn't but the spirit helped me and It felt way good, I LOVED IT! I love talking so it worked well with me haha! There were probably 40/50 people there too just FYI.. But another cool thing was there is this Elder who is one of the assistants and he played the piano.... WOW... He can just go off and just do whatever and play it with hymns and mix them... yeah its insane... he played forever and then like in the middle he played I love to look for rainbows (that primary song) and I was like tearing up... because he was just playing to a slide show of people who had been Baptized from our Mission and stuff in the past... uhhh soo insanely spiritual... SOOO GOOD ! I have an awesome way to compare the Book of Mormon to what a mission is too haha, so this is some scriptural doctrine here! What a mission feels like is this, Alma 36:21... The hardest times are hard, but the better times are even better than um.. just look it up! Its steezy. Like I said about the English Elders, we do everything with them! This last week we all made food, Like Elder Steele made "Tres Leches" (Its a Spanish Cake made with 3 types of milk... SOO BOMB! Unless you are lacktos haha i dunno how to spell that!) And I made rice :) I'm getting good at putting rice in the thing and letting it cook! I eat SOO much rice and beans and tacos... yeah i can actually cook decent! I just do what I've seen you do for years ma and I am putting it to good use haha you should feel honored :) I even made french toast!!! believe it or not!!!! But anyways And the English made Pork Chops... yeah it was an amazing meal haha I loved loved loved it! Eating has been good! We eat quite a bit and I have most definitely gained back that weight I lost in the MTC! Going into it I thought I would never eat again in my life, but now I am haha A LOT! Oh and also lately we have found this creepy Jamaican centipede everywhere! He is so big haha my comp named Him "The Brother of Shelob" haha the thing is a beast, I got a picture of him! I shouldn't have because he got away cause of it! now he is lurking everywhere to kill us! hahah but anyways... alright! I love you all so much! AND I LOVE hearing from you haha mom i LOVED bubbas letter about me and cait! SOOO FUNNY! he is a goof ball! And all of the boys are! They are awesome, I saw the pictures of us, I have it on my desk, but I saw it the other day and just smiled... because the 2 pictures are SO different, but we look the same... just older... and once we can do that again... in like 3 or so years before Caden leaves... yeah its gonna be just like that one! Bubba will have like chest hair and armpit hair not just that peach fuzz crap haha! its gonna be Gnarly! Welp... I hope this is better than last weeks! I hope you are doing awesome!! I LOVE YOU ALL SOOO MUCH! and I have just 3 things to leave you with:

1. Yeah this one is toolish but on Jersey Shore Vinny gets a new Tat right? So anyways it says "Let Go, Let God"... lame show to some yes.. stupid thing to say Brock? Maybe... but the meaning is AWESOME.. Don't worry... Let Go... just Let God Help you!

Elder Beyer in his apartment!

FAMILY!

So yeah I need to answer your questions first, 1 yeah I received them! I LOVED UM! I just loved it all :) but next...I dunno where to have you send them! Because lets say I get transferred and what not... then if you sent me something I am pretty unlikely to get it if I'm not there anymore haha but I mean it is A LOT nicer to just get them rather than having to wait and wait until either the Zone Leaders bring it down or we have Zone Conference ya know?? I dunno haha but yeah I loved them SO much! Who the heck was Carlos??! haha but the sheets are great! SUPER soft!!! I love um! And hows the language? pshh... haha I'm not good at it! i can barley understand people... if barely is the slightest of understanding haha! its  been crazy hard... and to be completely honest this week was a brutal one! First because of the weather... the first 2 weeks it was super hot and perfect, this week... straight rain! and not for like a second... I was practically soaked and we don't have a dryer so my clothes just are barley dry and my shoes are still soaked haha... but its all good, the weather is nothing, its still the same work whether its good or bad! you just got to keep going! so I did just that and I was pretty good and the weather wasn't bringing me down too much! BUT what did was the language...I feel SO retarded when it comes to it, and whenever people talk to me I feel just lost...I seriously have troubles with being positive about the language because tons of people are like, well it will come when you talk it will come when you talk... yeah there is like NO Spanish speakers here sooo.... haha I don't have time to! its usually just English or crappy random immigrant English so that is a language in itself haha! but yeah its definitely going slow and I feel like I'm gaining more and more but still I know nothing haha........................ um I got pretty homesick for a couple of days for sure! the point that I want to just get across to people who want to serve a mission is this... ITS HARD.... and NO ONE.... explains that.. they say yeah its super hard but good... yeah they don't explain it how it is... you literally are the most tired you have ever been in your life like always... pretty dehydrated, always hungry, and that's only like physical things. The list goes on and on... and with emotional and mental things... you get to the point sometimes where you get so sickened and just feel like its not worth it and then oh... its the worst feeling ever! and just like physical the list goes on and on... BUT to all of that... there is good and there really is happiness when you just keep  going and just keep working... God will bless you for all of it and there is a reason for it all! when people say its hard and just leave it at that its such an understatement.... but also its the greatest thing you could possibly do.. you seriously are a servant... and a representative of Jesus Christ and you have the power and the ability to not only strengthen your life... and the ones you care about... but also people who don't have it in their life! its been hard... and i don't mean to go off on that and seem depressed and seem like missions suck... I mean it to say that it really is SO hard, but at the same time is really is SO amazing. Its just like anything in life... Time does go by slow during the day but then all of a sudden you are out of the spiritual prison and on your way to Canada and then after that you are there starting week 4... its crazy! haha this week was hard but at the same time super good, we had the opportunity to invite this man named Alberto to baptism, he has been smoking for over 30 years but knows of the truth! Hopefully we can keep him strong and help him to improve and look to God with it all and help him enter the waters! This weeks letter isn't a good one and i already know that but its just because I was frustrated about everything and its hard to think that if i could get in a time machine that I would be in Hawaii hahaah but whatever... its good! I'm still in awe that all the boys are done with elementary school and still in awe that you trust caden with my car... hes the farthest thing from responsible haha... but I'm stoked for all of them to keep growing! even though i cant see it... well i love you all and I'm sorry this letter is crappy but hopefully it has some advice in it haha.. and hopefully you enjoy the pictures as well!!!
