FAMILIA!

Wowwww, this week hauled on by! Ha ha I cant believe I'm in here again writing a letter, and I really don't know what to write, because it went so fast that my mind is jumbled ha ha but yahhh I'll try to make something out of it! So we don't translate in the relief society, but I don't translate at all ha ha I'm the elder who sits there and is super confused and all the sweet old Hispanic ladies feel bad for cause I look like a scared puppy in the window! Ha ha but anyways! Mississauga is soo rad. It really is such a beautiful city! Its HUGE and just the other day we taught these people and we were up in their apartment and it was on like the 14th floor or something like that and we taught them on the porch as the sun was like setting and just saw the city... yeah... SO SICK! There is one thing that is missing from all of this though.... where in the heck are the Mountains???!!! Gee whizzz hahaha its a joke. but its good still its seriously unreal awesome! Riding the buses has been such a cool experience, we see some of the craziest random est people ever here! and I'm always sketched out at times cause you see some of the most cracked out people and think they might shank your throat and what not ha ha but its sweet! We do a lot of street contacting and just are chillin out on the streets and just talk to people, the other day this Russian/crazy weird, I dunno what she was but she was not having it with us ha ha. My comp was like "hey, go try your luck over there"  so being the weird awkward embarrassed greengo I am I went for it and I will try to sum up the convo so hopefully it makes sense.. "Hi mam, what a fine day isn't it? (yeah I'm trying to be proper its more missionary like!!! true fact.)" then all of a sudden Armageddon broke out... "You have no right to have the title Elder or to be able to speak of Jesus Christ! You have absolutely no experience and have nothing, the title elder can only be given to those with experience in the church!" So mind blown the stunning elder replies, after first thinking in his head "wow is it really that noticeable that its my second week here?" "well mam actually I'm a representative of Jesus Christ and I have a picture of him right here that can be yours" She then says "that's blasphemy, you can not have a picture of my Jesus Christ, you do not know what he looks like! Its a mockery to put a description on that who you have not seen!" By that time my companion stepped in and just tried to calm her spirits and what not hahah I was just like feeling so awkward and felt like ahhh what is going on haha but yeah! that's probably the best story I have for this week and also we ate at so many members houses this week! We got hooked up! We have not had to many lessons... we have been getting bailed on quite a bit and been just having no luck... BUT I think that this week is probably going to be better, we have a few lessons for people this week and hopefully they will work out and what not! Here is my update on the Spanish.... hmmm.... its coming along... I know a lot more words I guess, I feel better with it.... BUT hahaha I cant understand anything... whenever anyone asks me something in Spanish I usually look at them with the blankest of stares and then after looking pathetic and start sweating I either look at my companion or they say it in English cause they feel so bad for me ha ha... but its a process! It will come! oh I forgot to mention that most of the people that speak Spanish here are from COLOMBIA!!! So me and Lando could have some nice slang similarities as well!
I'M SOOOOOOO STOKED FOR T MITCH!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! ha ha I want to like cry... its seriously such a freaking blessing!!! Just think of me and t in high school... PSHhh like we were thought of as missionaries! but now!!!! oh my word... I still cant believe it... I'm sooo happy, its been a long time coming! Lots of prayers, temple role prayers, and just a lot of faith and patience! I knew he'd come to the good side ha ha I knew he could find it!! gosh... I cant even explain how happy I am right now, I wish I could see him and just hug the crap out of him... my best friend is going on a mission to Australia!!!!! SWAG.

Ha ha well I love you all soo much! Well... you guys are awesome! my time is coming to a close on another week! Thanks for your prayers, I feel them daily, I feel your love and feel faith through these letters! Keep writing them! I hope that the other elder that I had email you informed you of my address and everything! Its that one that grandma made those cards to! You can just send everything there, it is the mission office and I get those about every week or every couple of weeks but its awesome! So send it there!!!! But you guys are awesome! Stay positive, that's what has helped me easily the most! and prayers, prayers are everything!!! Oh get a Book of Mormon study guide! its called the Book of Mormon study guide religion 121 and 122... it will help you through ALL of that!!!! It makes the book of Mormon SOOOO much sicker!!!! Do it!!!

I love you all!!! Forever and Always!!

MADRE Y FAMILIA!!!!

Wowwzeerrss!!! K everyone says this about Canada that it is beyond cold right?? True. BUT they also fail to mention it is a freaking OVEN during the summer ages haha! Its been freaking boiling hot since I got here, no complaints but I am fried in the face and the arms and have a nice missionary tan going on (its better than a farmers tan haha) so anyways where to begin!

Day One, the flights were good. Pretty long, pretty tiring and they made me exhausted towards the end I'm not gonna lie.... and yeah it was just all and all a long and tiring thing!! But it ended up being pretty good so I'm glad the flying is over, I felt pretty sick because of the pilot, he wasn't very good but that's alright haha.  But yeah, so listen to this just barely this creep was reading everything over my shoulder and I asked if I could help him and he was so creepy, but I moved computers because I logged off to go to the bathroom and you cant log onto the same one so yeah haha all is well! So after that long and dreary flight I arrived and it was pretty crazy, it feels kinda like Mexico when you get off just because of how humid it is! It seriously is crazy hot! But my first impressions of the mission president and wife and his 2 assistants were awesome! They are so nice, and they are so loving! So we went back to their house, and it is SOOOOO SICK! And we met with the mission president and then we had a BBQ and it was out of this world good, my mouth is watering just thinking of it! Oh my one of the Mission president assistants is named Elder Gerrman, and he knows the Fowler family! So tell Brenda I met him! But that night all the Elders slept in a Holiday inn down the road.... yeah BEST BEDS EVER and I had a million pillows and totally cuddled with um, they were soft and so grand. But then the next day we went and we got to do the orientation at the stake center and then we met our companions! He seriously is sooo awesome, his name is Elder Steele and he is from Boise Idaho, He is soooo into camping, and stuff like that and played LAX! So we get along pretty well, he has helped me so much with the language! But The language is slowly coming I'm surprised but I love it! So that should be a decent explanation of all that haha, I dunno im a brain dead kid so i always forget about specifics but I will try to get a nice explanation of all of this! So tracting is different for us here, we do focus tracting. We look in the phone book for Spanish last names and go on the hunt hahah but its fun!

Oh wait I forgot to tell about mi casa! So we live in the basement of this man from India named Fuzzel. He is a nice man and our apartment is pretty sweet! Its small yes but its pretty nice! I will send pictures either in this letter if I find out how or next one! The bed is great and we also got a brand new pillow from the mission president! So its awesome! Every day we do personal study (an hour) then comp study (2 hours, because we are doing a new program and making it so we can be trainers in 12 weeks) and then language study (an hour) then after all of that we eat for an hour and then we get out and go! This week has been rough... we had a few lessons and they pretty much all got bailed at the last second.... we have been pretty much focus tracting non stop for a week and yesterday we were out tracting for like 6 or 7 hours... and I'm seriously an oompa loompa I'm soo red hahah! But its fun stuff, its freaking hot though! I thought I sweat a lot back home.... NOPE. Um we do this thing every Saturday and Tuesday where we teach free English classes at the church, it has been way fun actually and I love it haha I like talking to the people and trying to help them even when they don't understand a word I'm saying haha!! its funny but its still sweet!

This week should be a solid one with everything, I'm pretty sure we have dinner with like 4 or 5 people in the ward sooo yeah I'm stoked!! OH the ward!!! the ward is sooo sweet! It was weird having sacrament meeting in a chapel again after having it in the MTC but its so much better, the ward is small but so diverse and so happy! This is the coolest thing, my companion, has to sit in the back of the chapel and TRANSLATE for the people who speak Spanish!!!! They have head phones and everything and just sit in the congregation like normal but then my comp will just translate into the microphone thing and its soo cool! Spanish is still hard for me because I don't really know whats going on ever ha ha I feel like I'm starting to understand a lot more and I'm able to speak better but still we had this one lesson and I sat and just was like Uh Oh ha ha I'm in trouble with this! But its gonna come eventually!! This place is crazy cool, its NOTHING like what I thought! I'm blessed to be in Mississauga because I'm right outside the city of it, and its HUGE and its seriously such a cool city! I cant even explain how gnarly some parts are! If you get on google look up Celebration square in Mississauga or look up square one or the twisted towers in Mississauga! its seriously SOOOO DOPE!!! Its just crazy how diverse it is and how some buildings are new and they are mostly apartments and business buildings but they are seriously just sooo sick. The other day we ran out of food hahaha and had to stop at the grocery store and get something quick... I seriously thought I was in Asia. Straight up everything was translated in Chinese and English (usually everywhere here is translated in french and English) but it was crazy! and there were millions of Chinese people!!!!! that's probably one of the coolest things here, is how diverse it is! I thought it was diverse... but not this diverse haha there are seriously soooo many different people and everywhere!!! Its rare to see a CANADIAN person... I see Indian, Asian, black, Caribbean, Jamaican, sooo many, and its not just like rare its like everywhere!! The people of Canada have some different slang's ha ha gas here is petroleum, bathroom is a washroom, z is pronounced zed (weird huh?) and of course EH!!!!! haha but yeah its awesome you see a different thing everyday. We don't have a car so we bus everywhere but its so fun because you just are always moving around and seeing new faces and just talking to random people wherever you go! so its going to be exciting to see what is in store this week!!! Well... I hope this is interesting enough.. I will send pictures (like a ton) next week through email! And I found out that mail here takes a week to get there and hopefully its good... but yeah I'm not sending any of that (except to Cait :) sorry boys, I have no time I have to write that and get food for the week!!!!) but I will work on some for the future! Well family.... I love ya! More than anything, you are the reason I'm still going! Keep me posted on the lives and on everything else!!!

MOMMM!!!!! FAMILY!!!!!!!!

HOW IS IT GOING??!!!! WOW.  Its the last week in the MTC... I can not believe it!!! I will look out for that elder ma, see if I see him! So first things first there has not been much going on here but I have a cool story. Hmm, I love all the updates and everything that you are sending me! I love to hear that everyone is doing sooooo good! I sent a pack of pictures and a letter in it so I hope you enjoy it! I just ordered more pictures today so you will be getting soooo many this next week!!!! That's good grandma is doing good! I'm glad that she is fine, I will put her name in the temple today!! So I can get a calling card here if that's what I should do? I dunno what I should, if you should send me a go phone or what? you tell me! TRAVELING!!! I leave MONDAY and I have to meet at the travel office at 3 IN THE MORNING and my flight leaves at 6 IN THE MORNING!! SO set up your alarms haha if you wanna talk get up at three and just be waiting for it!! and then I fly from there to Fort Worth, Texas. Where I will be grabbing my bags and sprinting to the portal!!! I go from there to Toronto!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS!!!! AHHHHHh I'm so stoked for all of this! So I'm stoked that I'm going to the temp on grandpas birthday, I will see how this experience goes! So first things first, last week at the temple we ate at the cafeteria! I got a beef pot pie... usually I would be like yikes... not for me, but here I devoured it hahaha it was REAL FOOD!!! and we are going to eat there again tonight haha! So this is my cool story of the week, one of my comps Elder LeBaron from AZ got his ankle and back messed up. So we first got to walk down to the street to get some x rays haha it really isn't that cool, but once you have been cooped inside of the Missionary training center for almost 9 weeks its like HEAVEN haha umm. Then we got to get into a van a little later and then go and go to this physical therapy office! and guess what.... I'm a sinner because I heard some music playing and I LOVED IT hahaha I have always hated Michael Buble until then!!! haha They also had animal by neon trees, save tonight by umm I don't remember, but they had it haha I was in paradise for a little while! I MISS MUSIC. I miss you all so much but this is going to be crazy talking to you! I know you probably don't want to get up and chat with an old washout from k town at 3 in the flippin morning but hey.... I'd sure appreciate it hhaa! This is getting weird. I feel like the first month was soooo slooww and now I cant believe I'm leaving Monday! ha ha So last night we got bored, stayed up till 11 30, we are rebels and we also moved the bunk beds and made them connected!!!!! ha ha its not that cool and its lame, but once you are in here your sense of humor goes down the drain, you could see someone sneeze and would be like "hahahahaha wow that was funny where did you come up with that hahaha" its a joke haha. But seriously I love you guys so much! I cant believe I will be hearing from you in 6 DIAS!!!!!! ha ha I love you so much! I need to hurray and change my laundry, but until then just know the love I have for you is insanely large!!! I love you guys, keep me posted on life!

Forever and always,

FAMILLYYYYYYYYY,
What is up?! So yeah, Im in the missionary training center! its so awesome, we like go do crazy stuff all the time, I have never had so much fun......... HAHAH NOT! But seriously, its not too bad. Its getting better! This week was pretty cool, ehh... yeah it was. I cant really remember because all the weeks just blend together in here. But yeah this last Tuesday, Russell M. Nelson came in and spoke! (That makes 4 that I have seen now, 1/3 of them!!) It was seriously soo good. It was about the 9 main doctrine of the Church and they are: 1. Godhead 2. Plan of Salvation 3. Atonement of Jesus Christ 4. Dispensation, Apostasy, Restoration 5. Prophets and Revelation 6. The Priesthood and the Keys 7. Ordinances and Covenants 8. Marriage and Family 9. Commandments... Sounds like a lot right? It was ha ha but it was pretty good! The reason it was so good is because he said this about all of it. The Doctrine can be long things but you need to make them personal, if you can make them personal it makes it easier to teach and makes it that much better for the people to learn from. So It was awesome but now I just need to start making all of this get that much better! So this week for my personal study I did this sweet thing. I went through Chapter 6 in preach my gospel and I just read all through it and it was just so awesome! it was called Christ like attributes... if you are wanting to be spiritually fed for the week look that up and not just read it, but take notes on it and also look at every single verse of scripture in it as well! WOW. it is so amazing. I'm not gonna lie before I came out here I was like "yeah I know this book is true and what not" But now I can seriously relate my life and every part of it to scriptures from the B.O.M it is seriously sooooooo gooooood!!!!! You need to read through it. it helps a lot!!! and let me just say in advance the one i need to work on the most is PATIENCE!!!! So yeah ha ha. The MTC is crazy but guess what. This week on Thursday?? yeah I think then. I get my travel plans!!!! so yeah I get to know when I leave and what not!!!!!!!!!!! It's so crazy, I seriously cant believe I have been in here for my 8th week ha ha. Its going by pretty fast! Lets see here.... Nothing too cool! Oh wait this last Sunday, this man named Robert P. Swensen spoke to us and he just spoke on these things 1. Stay Happy 2. Have fun and 3. Be Good! Yeah he was awesome! Made me laugh lots but the coolest thing was that he said this. "in your mission, if you aren't having fun, you are doing it wrong" and its so right. I am no expert but if I'm not having fun in here I hate it, but when I just am positive and happy its seriously so much fun! I cant believe you were at BYU mom!! Geezz.... crazyy. But I love being updated on this all, keep it up! So I get my travel plans.... Once I get them mom text Cait if you would! Oh tell grandma peg thanks for the awesome package!! I love her, I eat a pack of Mentos a day ha ha. Umm I need nose trimmers mom!!!! geez louise... I feel like a gross old man who forgets to take care of his own hygiene!!!!! I had something else but I don't remember.... I loved the coke and everything! You are solid with these packages!!! I love hearing from you all its the best thing ever! well I love you all! I hope you are doing good! Don't feel obligated to write me, just enjoy life. I know that's what I kinda miss... Just being able to leave and go vespa or camping! SOOOO do it for me! But let me just say this I miss it. But this is well worth it! I love you sooooo much!!!
Con Amor,
Elder Beyer
