Monday, May 27, 2013 "Barrie is Great"

MOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!
WELL.... I'm gone and out of the city ha ha but I'm not going to lie its GREAT out here ha ha! The first little bit was just adjustment for sure, and I was really kinda lame about it... but I repented and ALL is WELL :) :) I honestly love it here ha ha its sooooo different! I'm coming from downtown Toronto where it is HUGE and there are MILLIONS of people to little tiny old Barrie where there aren't haha and also if you look at it we cover smaller towns of like 100s of people that's it ha ha! and coming from straight Contacting to straight tracting ha ha!  its INTENSE haha!
The ward here is pretty great too! They are all soooo nice! We ate at this older Lady's house the other day and it was incredible ha ha! I haven't eaten white people food in SOO long haha! but its been really great! I love it so much!
The other day we were able to figure out that we have like 8 investigators and like half of them are Spanish ha ha I LOVE it! and I have been able to go and speak with them just be able to have some good old quality speaking with them! I was fortunate enough to take part of a blessing to one of them and got to do it in Spanish! Really really great experience as well! I love it! I miss Spanish but at the same time teaching in English is GREAT! Its seriously one of the funniest things ever, its pretty challenging though ha ha Ive never taught in English so I'm hoping that the Lord will qualify me for this ha ha!
That story about Bryton was really really great! I enjoyed it for sure. Let him know that I know he will have a hard time, but he will still be happy! and everything will be OK! Happiness always comes after despair! That's the truth!
Well... Elder Rogers has been out like 3 transfers more than me, we eat quite a bit here ha ha and my favorite... I dunnoo... I love cookies... love caramel and normal popcorn... I miss donuts like no ones business like those ones that come in the bag... with the white bendy things to be able to open and close it? If that makes sense ha ha like the little chocolate ones! Those I crave daily.. man... I miss tons of food! I'm always tired and hungry hahah! but its great! Size for the shirt is 17.
Well... things are great here! If there is one thing that I have learned is that the Lord loves us and really puts us in the areas and in the locations that we need to be in. I know that to be true! I honestly have felt the Lords love this past week more than I ever have and I love Him SO much more. If nothing else I know that I have come here to be able to come closer to Him, I have never prayed the way I have or asked and thanked Him in this way before! I love Him and know that He loves you all. Come to know Him, He lives and is there.
Forever and Always,

Wednesday, May 22, 2013 "Tranfered Again!!"

HEYYYY!!!!

So Ive got some intense news for all of you.. I'M TRANSFERRED AGAIN!!!!!!! ha ha yup... I'm currently in a city called Barrie. its a really pretty city! Its got tons of trees and is just one of a kind for sure ha ha. Its like an hour or so above Brampton so I'm in the Northern part! Its pretty crazy! Another thing is, is that I'm not in Spanish work anymore! I'm actually serving in an English ward ha ha... so that is going to be a HUGE change! I cant teach in English! its WAY too hard. ha ha but we'll see how that turns out! I was really scared that I would come here and lose all of my Spanish and what not... but it turns out that there are TONS of Spanish people here still ha ha I had a long conversation with one last night and also I was able to talk with some of the members and potentials that are actually Spanish people! I'm really excited. I don't think I'm going to lose it.

Just some cool news! Arturo, the recent convert in Christie, is going to get married to a member from the church!!! We are really so excited for him to be able to go and get things working out here and also to keep progressing for an eternal family and stuff :) :) its going pretty good! I'm EXCITED for him SOOOO EXCITED!!!! Saying bye to everyone was a crazy crazy thing... it sucked ha ha I was so sad. I loved that ward that I was just serving in! But I'm hoping that it will all work out. I am pretty excited for the future and what it has in store!
I forgot the cord to be able to send pictures but I will send some soon next week for sure! don't even worry about it!
My new companion was actually one of my previous zone leaders from London, and he is from Las Vegas. His name is Elder Rogers! I'm pretty excited to be serving with him and see what we can do here! There is a lot of potential and I think that we will be baptizing TONS soon enough :) ha ha.
I honestly don't have too much to say... New things again! Its going to take some time to adjust.. but things will work out!

Forever and Always,

MA!!!
So with the shirts, yeah that sounds perfectly fine for me! You can just send them if you want... it might be easier that way... I dunno! Also I will go and buy some pants today, just some really cheap ones to be good summer pants for proselyting ha ha! I hope that it will all work out good ill use my CREDIT CARD for that one OK? It sounds like everything was a success ha ha its funny seeing that picture of me and troy because I only see from one angle and now I can see what it looks like from your side ha ha that's great! I hope that you guys are really doing good and I'm sorry that this letter is not long ha ha I have honestly nothing to say... I said it all yesterday :) I loved seeing you all and just seeing how much everyone has grown up! It amazes me at times to see the growth that occurs in such short time of people and especially when its within the walls  of your own family! It was WAY cool talking to troy and randy in Spanish ha ha that was way weird! but its going to be cool in the future with it all! I love you so much I hope you know that, and I hope that you know that I am so grateful for all that you do for me. Its great to be a missionary when you have such a great family that you don't have to worry about them! Stay strong and smile and things will work out :) love you!

Monday, May 6, 2013 "The play opened"

FAMILY!!!!!!!
So to just start off, I am probably going to be skyping :) and it will be Sunday and at like 6ish probably? and I have only an hour as well ha ha last time I didn't realize and just kept talking... really sorry ha ha! But we are going to give you a call this week and let you know! Let the grandparents come for sure and Cait for sure :) I cant wait, I'll call you guys later and give you a set time! It will be like 4 or 5ish for you guys though out there!
This last week was probably one of the funniest weeks of my life and probably the funniest as as missionary!

Monday: Just a normal P day... really great, played soccer
Tuesday: Elder Paul V Johnson Mission tour, and then Opening night of the Book of Mormon play
Wednesday: Zone Leader Council WITH Paul V Johnson
Thursday: Normal day
Friday: Book of Mormon Play take 2
Saturday: Alex Boye Fireside
Sunday: Renewing my Covenants :)

hahaha So that was basically the week in a nut shell! PRETTY GREAT EHHH??? ha ha the chance to sit and meet with an General Authority was probably one of the coolest chances of my life. we got to learn SOOO much from him and we really did get to do some great things! I have learned so much from random meetings and instructions from people, but that was probably the coolest one!
Alex Boye came to Brampton and we were able to ride down with some investigators and go to it! It was really fun! Not quite the same spirit that I felt with Elder Johnson ha ha... it was kinda crazy, like a baptist church, but still really great! He sang a little bit! Look up his song "I will rise" its with an Orem institute choir, and is really good!
Sorry those details aren't really too great, but its cause I don't have much time and I really wanted to talk about the "Book of Mormon" play haha!
Basically everybody thought that we were actors and thought it was super funny! but we would be like "nope real Mormons" haha it was so intense! What we did was met up at the church, put about 25 BOM's in the backpack, and like 30 pamphlets of the Restoration in there and well and then just subway ed down to the theater and just went wild ha ha! We went with a couple other companionship's and within an hour we handed out 105 Book of Mormons, and 125 or so pamphlets haha! That was opening night! The other night we just took 50 and like 200 pamphlets.... wanna guess what happened? all... GONE. hahaha you seriously feel so crazy doing it! I'll give you a description over skype of what happens haha but you feel like a salesman! We'd say stuff like "FREE BOM'S, the BOOK IS BETTER THAN THE PLAY, and guess what??? ITS FREE!!!!!!" I started saying stuff like "FREE COPY OF THE BOOK OF MORMON FREE WITH TICKETS, FREE PAMPHLET OF WHERE THIS BOOK OF MORMON PLAY ORIGINATES!!!! FREE WITH ADMISSION!!!!" hahaha  its soooo funny! but so fun! I got asked a couple of times to get a picture taken with me... ha ha I got asked for my autograph hahahah... its seriously so crazy! but so fun! You get pretty scared cause there are so many people, but honestly it made my testimony grow that much more! I know that the Book of Mormon is real, and I know that there will be people baptized from them receiving that wonderful blessing in their lives. Its so fun. Its been unifying the Zone for sure, we all are trying to go down at separate times and just go hog wild! I'll explain more later :)

I simply want to end with my testimony of that the church is true. I have never been so blessed in my live than now. I know its because of the trials that He gives me, to make me who I need to become. I Love it.
Forever and Always,

Elder B. Beyer :)
