HOLLYYY SMOOKEESSS!!!

I cant believe Cars made it!!! ha ha jusss teassin! I'm still surprised that I made it through that first week in the MTC! I truly believe that is when Satan works his hardest to weed them out! Because its CRAAPPPYYY ha ha! but no worries! All is well after that! This week was... hmm.... well looking back at it now, a BLUR ha ha but other than that I really cant remember in detail what happened! Let me look through my planner and see... hold on...

I'm Back, thanks for your patience :) well to begin this week, we taught our recent converts Diana and Arturo a couple of times to get them working towards the next steps of the gospel! It was really fun and we are trying to get them stoked about the future of their lives and get them to help some of their friends out with it as well! :) we'll see how that goes! We did A LOT of finding today, and when I say that this is what I mean... You go outside, walk around and people are EVERYWHERE! From there you find the Spanish and try to baptize them. Simple enough right ha ha? But we ride buses sometimes, subway sometimes and do that as methods of finding! Its really different than any other area I've served in ha ha! But I LOVE IT! We seriously just need to stay in our area and do whatever and wait til you hear some Spanish and POUNCE on um! ha ha That's basically the week!

We got LOADS of new missionaries in the CTM, and we were really stoked ha ha and I think the coolest thing right now is that we got 2 more areas in our zone, and now we have 11 companionship's including us! Its really awesome because 6 of them are in training, 2 just got out of training and the rest are just normal... BUT STILL!!!! We are SUPER young and really excited about the future! The best thing about a new missionary is their fire for missionary work, and how stoked they are for the field ha ha I think its partially the reason they keep you in the MTC so long, just so you come out like a bat outta Satan's place with the expectations that you are baptizing anything that breathes ha ha! I love it! We have been super fortunate to have some really incredible missionaries come in and we are really pumped about the future!

I love where I'm at right now! We are really stoked to be together again, Elder Prince and I, and we think that we are probably going to be together for quite some time ha ha! That would be fun, because we are just loving it right now! We have some upcoming dates for baptism, so I'll let you know how that goes in the upcoming weeks!

Really quickly I kind of wanted to talk about my study that I had... Its a really fascinating subject to me, and that is when we are doing something wrong, why does it feel right? and also when we are in that situation, why does it seem like the devils on our shoulder is shouting to keep going but the little angel just sits back and watches? and this topic really interested me... because if we are doing something wrong, how come we feel at times that its OK? That shouldn't happen right? WRONG. I have come to conclusion that everything in life is a test... I look at life like a video game per say... because when we do something right we get rewarded, but other times we fall and down grade... but there are those weird times when we just fall into that awful routine and feel OK with it... Get out of that NOW. This life is full of challenges and adversity, and if we fall into it we are taking steps backwards. There is nothing worse then letting the adversary defeat us and push us back to where we were! The reason the angel on our shoulder is quite at times is to see how we react and to see if we are going to stay firm to the rod... Unfortunately that isn't as easy as that sounds! But I thank our Lord and Savior those opportunities to grow, this life is a blessing and despite the hard times, it truly is happy. That's what God has intended for us, as long as we push through that hard darkness holding us back from joy. I take Joseph Smith for example... when he knelt in the grove of trees he was attacked and was left alone... until he had no where else to go... but since he pushed through he was blessed. I know that the challenges in life are given to us, for a reason. And if we take advantage of them, we take advantage of our individual growth. Live to your potential. Its needed from all of us as members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. I love you all. Make the Devil shut up with your righteousness.
